Gene still owns it, but Cloverleaf Precision out of Yukon run the range. There's been a couple threads on here about the changes; Jay from Cloverleaf posted quite a bit to clear up misconceptions about what was going on out there.

Yes they're only open to the public a few days a week. It is nothing like it was a couple years ago, they've made (in my opinion) many major improvements. Before Cloverleaf took over I've been down range when people have shot before as well, with no recourse from anybody at the range. If that happens now, from what I hear, you're permanently banned from the place.

For 100 yards it's a good option and the closest for me by far so I'll keep going there. I closed my office tomorrow morning to go shoot at Fouled Bore but just saw that they're closed tomorrow to set up for a national match so for a Thursday morning, my only real option is to head to Lexington...
For the same drive if not less ill just hit up fouled bore.

So you see two human begins walking on the firing range what is your policy?
If I am not walking down range with them to mess with my targets i will stay back and watch everyone at the benches.
I actually had a friend with me once that knew the range was cold and he sat down at the bench grabbed a gun and shouldered it
I pushed his shoulder and said HEY! Drop it people are down range!
He was like OH!
Like it slipped his mind or something.
Almost like there out there for one reason and oblivious to their surroundings.

SHTF they will be the first casualties.

I am off on tuesdays and Wednesday’s so their hours are a bummer. They also let me shoot a 50bmg, 100meter range but better than not shooting it. Where else can I shoot one near YUKON?

Easy driving distance like 30 minutes from nw Okc or YUKON. I have a house full of teenagers and limited time.

Fouled bore would be optimal, but they are closed my days off and a couple hours away
