I just shot a box minutes ago.. Atwoods has been doing a 1.99 a box on sale, a few weeks ago it was the Blazer and last it was the Aquila, I oddly didn't make it into Atwoods this week to find out what specials that have going, being in the country we don't have a Academy.. But the wife wants a new zero so we may have to run into MWC..

I like blazer aluminum and brass centerfire. I shot 1k of blazer 22lr recently and it was dirty and I had too many issues with it.

That's funny because blazer is one of the .22lr's that my P22QD will fire every time.
I was amazed at how dirty it was since CCI made it. I was trying to find something cheap as my kids had shot all my old federal 510 and the newer 510 wasnt cycling all our pistols.
On the blazer 22 I had some fail to fire that with a restrike would fire in a p22qd. Had issues with extraction on a Henry 22lr. Also I had issues with T/C R22 mags needing cleaned, never had that issue before. Maybe it was all coincidence. I keep all my guns cleaner than most. I switched to golden bullets and 2k rounds later no issues everything eats it.
