I loved Tim Conway and the Carol Burnett Show.

Good news for those who say all comedy today is filthy langauge or Trump hatred......go to YouTube and search for "Dry Bar Comedy"

Not to hijack this thread, but here is a sample:

As far as blue humor goes, there's more than enough of it today but it didn't start following Tim Conway. Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Lenny Bruce were before or during the Conway era. AFAIK, Conway just didn't do that type of humor. Jim Gaffigan, Mike Birbiglia, Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Jerry Seinfeld are all relatively clean as well (caveat: I've never seen any of them live). Times haven't changed that much in the comedy world, there are and have been both kinds since the 60's.

Tim was on Johnny Carson one night, talking about his military career. He cracked Johnny up when he said, "I made Corporal.............three times."

Another great one is Bob Newhart.

Redd Foxx was doing blue humor well before the '60s, as were the "Borscht Belt" comedians, and I'm pretty sure Vaudevillians were doing it long before that. The only difference today is that you can see it on TV or YouTube or Netflix.
