It has been a wild one between I-44 and I-35 today. Not sure if weather related, but the Burkburnett AF Base lost a plane near Lake Waurika. Pilot was ok. Lost count of how many tornado warnings we saw.

I have seen good roads washed off a hill due to land owner that wouldn't burn the leaves out of his ditches.
This is my issue. The only neighbor we have is 275 yards away, retired liberal school teacher, and refuses to contribute a dime to our shared road maintenance even though all the water from my property is channeled into culverts and leaves the property without going down our road and causes no damage to our shared driveway that is 128' high and 3/10 mile long.
All the water on her property causes 100% of the road damage for two reasons. #1 she won't buy rock to build up the road to a level that I can crown it to run off into the ditches with the $20,000 tractor and another $3000+ in implements I've bought to maintain the road.
Before she moved in, we had two other families that lived in that house previously and they gladly paid half to maintain the road because I was doing 100% of the maintenance.

#2 She won't maintain her leaves and allows them to build up and wash down the ditch where they plug up and cut the berm I've built since the road is lower than the ditch now since she won't share in the rock replacement. I've probably spent 5 grand buying rock over the years with no contribution from her, letting it go one time to the point that the road running up our steep hill was almost impassable.
She traded in her car for a honda 4WD and never asked what she could do to help.
I'm at the point of asking for legal help.
All day yesterday I was in rain gear with a shovel breaking up the leaf jams on the hill that were her problem as well as a 1/10 mile of our shared road below the hill that I dug out the ditches a couple of years ago to drain the water coming off the hillside that were also full of leaves. . I'll accept half of that responsibility, but it was nobody but me doing the work. This lady has money so that is not the issue.
