The weather people on TV are absolute boobs. It’s all for drama. They spend hours telling us what could be said in probably 20-30 seconds. The views from the helicopters don’t do much good. The spotters they have driving all over hell and half acre don’t tell us anything we can’t tell from glancing at radar.
It seems like each year all 3 stations get together and talk about what new words to push each storm season. They all have an over inflated ego. There’s a ditzy blonde that does remotes for channel 4 who I have a hard time believing graduated high school much less went to college.
But then I look at the idiots who drive into moving flood waters and I start to think that those of us with actual logical thought are in the minority.

I would get the camper out before the next turd floater and leave for a month or so and let her be stuck at home or be forced to do something about it.
Oh yeah the weather men get all giddy and love to fake how bad it is outside. I have turned it on before during storms and if you listen to them its always the end of the world but they have a glean in their eye as they say it. I just don't even turn it on anymore. Best app I have found is called MYRadar on android. It opens strait to the radar no bs like other weather apps.

As a fisherman the worst report you can get is Light and Variable. That means wind is going to blow 20 from all directions. In Oklahoma if you learn to love to fish in the wind you can be happy 347 days a year.
I use the android app called radar now. Probably about the same as yours..I like it a lot. I hate having to click 15 times to get to the radar screen like you have to do on a lot of those weather sites.
