I picked one of these scopes up but I can’t get it low enough to seem to work. Other than a cheek pad, I don’t know what else to try.
I wonder if someone makes a Picatinney rail that would mount to the rifle. Mine is a little high also. With a rail you could mount the scope forward a lot farther.

Mine has a picatinny rail mounted. I may end up with a pistol scope in the future.

I have a small Leupold scope on a Ruger 77/44- I think it’s a 1.5-5 with a 20 mm objective. It has a Pig-Plex reticle and it’s called a V-Hawg or something close. I like the small scope on a lever gun- had one similar set up on a Marlin 336 years ago.
