Soooooo, I don't wanna argue about marijuana but I just wanna have a comment in this thread cuz I like watching y'all argue and I wanna cheer for y'all.
Yeah, this is a cheering y'all on post! Continue!
Yeah, I pretty much stay out of these threads. I've watched the Reefer Madness movie, and I'm skeert although there are some really incredible statements in this thread.

MJ is legal in a lot more places than it was 30 years ago. Or is that just something else you'll blow off as coincidence? :P

If all drugs were legal, I'm sure there'd be a lot more drug addicts (simply because many hard drugs are highly addictive). I can't make myself believe that would be a good thing.

But this is America, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Too bad some can't express theirs without ridiculing others. :drunk2:

That seems to be his modus operandi. Same guy that bragged about punching people with cheap shots. I can't speak for him, but cheap shots are what cowards do when they know they can't win a fair fight.

And a man that says that would piss down his leg if a guy was slapping around your wife.
And if you had any knowledge of self preservation or winning a bar fight, you'd know there are no rules outside the ring.
Bless your heart...

i guess what I’m angling to is, do we need to start asking if a buyer has a card in private sales? I mean, everyone I know that have a card are good solid people. Some I’ve known for 30+ years.
DADT.

It worked for homosexuals who wanted to serve their country, so put it to use here. Your prescriptions are none of my business, whether they be for pot or for metoprolol.

You made a point? LMAO.
What pray tell, was it exactly?
Talking about a fare fight in a bar when there wasn't even a fight?
Bless your heart!

HAHAHAH!! 200 candidate Andrew Young want to legalize opioids and Fentanyl for social use. No restrictions.

Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang put forward his plan to decriminalize opioids, including heroin and fentanyl, during a CNN town hall Sunday night.

Yang, a startup veteran and founder of the nonprofit Venture for America who has never run for elected office before, had already added a “decriminalize opioids” plank to the list of nearly 100 enumerated policy stances on his campaign website. But on Sunday, he fleshed out that stance, spelling out the specific drugs he would decriminalize when found in small amounts and saying that the goal of decriminalization is to get more Americans into treatment and out of jail.

In response to a question from a student at Trinity Washington University, Yang described opioid addiction as a “plague” that has reduced Americans’ life expectancy and surpassed deaths from car crashes as a leading cause of death. He added that “the federal government was complicit in enabling this opioid epidemic,” describing federal officials as “standing by” while pharmaceutical companies dispensed drugs like Oxycontin as a “non-addictive wonder drug,” leaving Americans to deal with the aftermath.

Here, but occasionally There.
come on, the Millers are hauling bushles of it in their RV. I know cause I saw the movie.
TM, I can show u facts that disprove ever statement you made...but I'm not going to because I have already and it's a waste of time.
1. Yes
2. ********, there are no more people using weed now than before it was legalized. Not a real measurable amount anyway, and any new users would do it anyway. Fact
3. A dealer and one in simple possession will and can get the same prison time. Fact. And since when does locking up a non violent pot smoker or even Herion addict, have anything to do with "public safety". After all, thats what law is fundamental for. They lock up people they are mad at but those individuals never harmed a soul.
Fact.

You can look them up.

Absolutely NOT a fact. Many times, simple possession is a misdemeanor when arrested for it the first time. Only after one has been convicted of a misdemeanor and then commits the same crime of possession again can they be charged with a felony as an option. It's the same with DUI.

As for "possession with intent to distribute," I think you may find it to be a felony on the first arrest.

You seem to forget that I worked for the OSBI and dealt a lot with crimes and punishment.

And, while I suspect your very first paragraph above was made in jest, not everyone reading these forums would know that, so kindly keep the nonsense out of the more serious discussions.
