that being...a 1911 recoil spring plug for a wilson combat guide rod could achieve low earth orbit at near light speed. that spring is not stock and was forged in hell.

this is a public safety announcement in advance of it's likely decaying orbit and re-entry. replace your tinfoil covers with something a tad sturdier.

I found something to that when I was taking down my Caspian 10mm for the first time. The spring in that thing had to have hit mach 1 and nearly broke out my dining room window. I was glad I wasn't looking directly at it when I let it fly.
