Glad ya didn't get too close.

We have had two dogs bitten in the face just like that. Both survived the bite, but the little Shih Tzu developed spasms, probably from the neurotoxin and only lived another 6 months before having to be relieved of it's pain. It was horrible to watch him lock up on the floor, and spaz out for minutes at a time.
Love my rat snakes and other non venomous, but those with fangs are left lifeless.

Dad gum...right about the time that video ended, something hit the floor in the kitchen. It sounded like a danged mousetrap snapping, except that I haven't seen any evidence of mice here, so I don't have any traps set. It turned out to be a bottle of Excedrine that fell off the counter (I guess the AC vent was blowing on it just right), but some fortuitous timing sure turned that into a WTF moment.

Talking about snake, who is going to watch the new show about snake hunting in the everglades? I saw something in TV but I didn't get the whole story.

They have python hunts all the time in the everglades. Stupid people that released their pets after they couldn't take care of them.
