Lives in sin, (gay marriage) Then how do gays and lesbians become ordained ministers?

I can be 'ordained' in 10 minutes online.

But in real world practice there are various faiths that do so. And various that don't. In fact, I believe the Methodist church is going through a major crisis regarding this very topic that could well cause a split in a multi-billion dollar convention. I could be wrong, it may be another one, but it is a major group.

My definition of ordination is a consecration by means of studying and sacrifice by a legitimate church not some website you pay $10 to.
Becoming an ordained minister in that way just cheapens the practice and the religion ordaining the person. Not to mention the illegitimacy of the consecrated acts performed by the "ordained minister". Just another way they can tear down our belief systems.

Currently, "self-avowed, practicing" gay, lesbian and bisexual persons cannot be ordained in The United Methodist Church. According to the Book of Discipline: "The practice of homosexuality is incompatible with Christian teaching. Therefore self-avowed practicing homosexuals are not to be certified as candidates, ordained as ministers, or appointed to serve in The United Methodist Church." Although some regions still raise obstacles, gay, lesbian and bisexual persons who take a vow of abstinence are eligible for ordination according to church law. In 2014, both the New England and California-Pacific conferences issued statements that they would not discriminate against LGBTQ people seeking ordination—an action that goes directly against church law.

Isn't is amazing at how organized they are though to sway so much power within our government? A small rudder can turn a giant ship. The LGBTQ community is very tight nit. They can have a protest together in hours if not minutes and their ability to use the media to their benefit is one of the best.

They must have a fudgepackers unite hotline..

Your definition of ordained doesn't apply to people who don't practice your faith. Anyone can be ordained if they choose to do so - maybe not in YOUR CHURCH... but that's not the measure for everyone.

Without doubt, it is a thorny issue. Most of us are old enough to remember when any of our school-mates who were on the effeminate side were harassed and hateful terms or worse were thrown at them. That was wrong and it is the background for the civil rights side of the change we see today.

Beyond that we can debate the standards by which people should live. Standards are needed and real wisdom is in short supply among today's cognoscenti.

Here, but occasionally There.
Years ago when we lived in Skiatook my kids were both small my daughter may have been in first grade and son in pre-k. My wife would take them to story time at the library each week. One day they gave out some free books. My wife brought them home and showed it to me. They were cute picture books showing families and daily life. It was very subtle but the closer you looked you could see they were promoting LGBT lifestyle within the book. After doing some research on the author she said very plainly. The way you make change is to indoctrinate the youth. This is where change can happen easily as they haven't yet formed beliefs or opinions. I think she is very correct. So to answer the OPs question. Yes they are using this to promote their agenda.

This is referred to today as "historical revisionism," and it has been in play since Adam and Eve. Satan as the serpent asked a question as to whether God was wrong or not about death. Today, they rewrite history books to diminish such people as the founding fathers and great presidents so as to push their own beliefs onto others. Repeat a lie enough and more and more people will believe it.

This is also why tyrannical governments want to burn books, especially religions, historical, and philosophical ones.

Why the hate? Because they are different? Because they have different beliefs than you? So what they like the same sex, that doesn't explain the hate and vitriol that you just spewed and that I've seen in other posts. I've seen similar responses from people who claim to be followers of Christ yet that goes against the very teachings expressed in the bible. That is the point I'm trying to get across.
