This is mostly the reason I do t mess with AL. I’ve done a couple deals that went ok and a couple were disastrous. I don’t have time for no shows or characters like this one.

I've never had an issue with anyone OSA, "good people here". Armslist is full of crazy people though. I sold a 92FS I bought brand new that'd only had about 150 rounds through it to a guy on Armslist. Anyone who's ever dealt with me knows my gear is always near perfect and clean enough any armorer would gladly accept it back on check in. He tried to tell me he took it to 2A and they told him the barrel had been completely shot out. I told him that I didn't appreciate having my integrity called into question but would be happy to meet him at 2A to discuss his claim with him and whomever he claimed told him the weapon had an issue. I did warn him that I'm on a first name basis with almost everyone there though. Of course he declined. I figure his wife was pissed he spent the money or something like that.

Bought a 1911 frame on Armslist with no problem. However, on some contact with sellers, once I mention a "safe place" to meet they give me an excuse that the weapon is sold, decided not to sell....etc. Happened a couple of times.

Post the part on Armslist LMAO

There is your extra 25$
Those two posts made me laugh out loud.

I have only done deals from OSA and never had an issue. I have to say though that I hate when the server sends out the renew you add emails. The people that only posts adds on here for stuff that never sales. Saw one guy has been trying to sell the same gun since this time in 2008. I wish they would stop relisting an item at a month or something. I hate when you click the Whats New button at the to and its the same old adds. There is a reason you gun isn't selling after a couple weeks if its not a POS you are probably priced to high.

I've done a few deals on gunbroker and armslist. Never had an issue on gunbroker. Can't say the same for armslist. As soon as he started trying to tear the gun down, I'd have been done with him. Yes, if you find or have said part, sell it to him. He's the one who lost the damn thing. Not your problem.

Charge him for the part. The deal was over and terms accepted when you both drove away. Additional parts = additional cost. Or dont be a dick your choice.

I wasn't the one being a dick. He is the one that took it apart, not me. I took everything out of my trunk and looked, its not there. He was the one that acted like he was giving the barrel a handy. Guy acted like he had parkinsons too, shaking real badly, whining that "its dirty" and wanting to scrub the hell out of the barrel. I've never been a dick to anybody I have ever done a deal with on here or on armslist. Don't act like you know me.
