So the filtration on the dodge's kinda sucks. The only thing they have is a sock in the tank to keep the crud out of the injectors. I plan to rectify that on mine sometime soon. Picked up a single remote filter mount and a filter that should outlast my truck by a hundred thousand miles. It's overkill but after changing from a 2 hole injector to a 12 hole I figure it's probably worth the work. Figured I would share for those people who may have a future need for a similar project of some sort.

Can never have too many filters. Its better to do it right the first time and take care of it from the beginning and make last. I need to change the fuel filter on my car, I first changed it when I bought it that was a few years ago when it 65k on it, now its over 100k miles and gets 60 miles a day put on it.

CAT has equivalent filtration and size filters for less FYI. I'd buy mine from them. I forget the number but its out there on the web.

Yeah, I think something was said about that but one of them has aluminium on the thread surface... Maybe it was another one. Either way finding a fuel filter that would thread on to an oil filter base was the hardest part for me. I doubt I will ever have to change that thing anyway.
