There were several tornadoes in the southern half of the state and one around Perry. The one down south by Mangum was a high F4 or a weak F5 according to early reports. Missed the town by a mile or so.
It appears the cold front settled down a lot of unsettled air and possibly more naders.

No doubt there were a few. But it was advertised as another 1999 or 2013 day.

If not for the cold front coming through it could have been much worse. The tornado in perry had our house in the line of fire, but as soon as it hit that cold front it just went away thankfully. I'm seeing that there was some damage from it in the Perry area.

Tornado warning around Leonard, heading NE past Coweta. Another near Wagoner.

ETA: How long has Caroline Brown been doing the weather? She could do very well in that pic of the four bikini’ed ladies that’s made the rounds of the forum in the past.
About a year.

Road was flooded on the way in to work. There was a whitewater stream going across the road from a pond and it shoved my crown vic sideways going through it. Made it to work, a lot of people called in.

I-40 is closed near El Reno due to flooding over the hiway.
I was watching the live stream on the News9 weather app early yesterday evening, and they said on the air that the PD in either El Reno or Enid (I can't recall which) was asking that everyone there stay where they were because of the flooding. They said the PD was currently rescuing two dozen people from flooded cars.

Of course, they didn't clarify if that was 24 incidents or just one bus...
