I saw the uss batfish a long time ago. It sure puts in perspective how tough sub life was in those days. Cool historical trip.

I hope they pull her back to her correct spot. It’s like a bowled impression where she was resting. She has drifted maybe 15° to the right and if they don’t fix that when the water goes down it’ll probably break her old back. I’ve meant to go and see her. An impressive part of WWII history in our own backyard. Pretty amazing

Went on several trips to the Batfish as a kid. Recently read a book on WWII submarines and even how several got to where they are now. Hoping it can be put back in place and kept safe for future generations to see.

Took my son to tour it years ago. Enjoyed the trip and history. Subs were a lot smaller back then, compared to today. lol
