Arguing from authority and personal experience are fine and all (they’re not – they’re fallacious), but in terms of making informed decisions, you need evidence. How many people here have actually bothered to read any vaccine research? I’m going to guess there’s not much interest in that kind of thing from at least some of the people posting and reading here. It’s a lot easier to be on the bandwagon. And more fun. You get to feel like you’re so much smarter than those stupid people who don’t receive every single vaccine without so much as asking what they’re called. And yet people who refuse or delay vaccines are overwhelmingly highly educated, and healthcare providers are overrepresented in this group. These aren’t stupid people. If you haven’t yet, stop echoing the MSM and give some serious thought to why educated people who spend way more time learning about vaccination and immunity than most people are the ones refusing some or all vaccines. You don’t have to agree with them, but it’s foolish to write them off, especially just because some guy in Atlanta told you to.

Why does it seem like 2A forums seem to attract so many assclowns? I am on lots of forums (under different usernames) and the 2A ones tend to be some of the worst.

Could you go ahead and post any PRJs, research, or any evidence you've compiled? Still would love to see some of the "risk factors."

Do your own research. I don't have the time nor inclination to post links here for you. I just wanted to provide one reason my family refuses certain vaccinations, to counter the vilification of the MSM (and clearly some of those on this forum).

I left this board many years ago because of the people here, and now I'm remembering why I left.

You getting your logins crossed? "He" was citing evidence and babbling when asked direct questions and so I'd love to see some reference.

Speaking to you now though I guess? ...... YOU said you are here to educate. So educate. Nevermind your reasoning is completely retarded ( well within your rights though.) The same kind of reasoning could be applied in that you should refuse to be a citizen of the United States because you are morally against slavery. Doubt your conviction goes that far though.

Normally, I'd be harsh and say nature will work it's way out but there are kids involved, hopefully they don't suffer the consequences of your "morality." On top of that, hopefully you keep your kids away from others.

If the other child is vaccinated, my child can’t infect them. Isn’t that the point of vaccination?

Once scientists develop vaccines using non-fetal means, we’ll be more than happy to vaccinate. Hypothetically, what if instead of fetal cells of two aborted fetuses, these vaccines were developed using tissue from Nazi medical experiments on Jewish Holocaust victims. I wonder if society would be so quick to use such vaccines?

Again, if you are vaccinated, why do you give a sh*t whether I do? Theoretically you are safe.

There's been an amount of ignorance in what you've said or your stance on the "safety" of the herd so to speak.

Hopefully you're never near infants and people whom have suppressed immune systems.

Not pissed off, not at all. And I am not arguing that vaccines don't have risk. I will be the first to admit there are risks. Lots of them. Risks run everything from a local injection site reaction to a major systemic issue like Guillain-Barré syndrome - absolutely. Up to and including death. Which is why I advocate people KNOWING those risks.

And I don't like the State telling people they have to treat their kids a certain way... and requiring certain treatments or vaccines, especially those that go against religious beliefs... it's a really tough line to skirt, and it's a hard thing to decide. Agreed, 100%.

We've had this argument for years with Jehovah's Witnesses who oppose blood transfusions, etc. Also people who don't want to put their kids through chemotherapy. And I believe parents usually know what's in their kids' best interests.... BUT...

Yeah. There's always a BUT....

I honestly don't KNOW what the answer is. Not at all. I can tell you that I KNOW that vaccines don't cause autism, and I KNOW that they are good for society as a whole, that they help reduce or eliminate infectious diseases. Yee haw.

But that doesn't console the one family in a million or whatever who lose a child to a serious reaction. It is tragic, but it is expected, unfortunately. Some people are going to react badly to any kind of medicine or treatment. Or hot dog. Or bee sting. Or whatever. It happens. Doesn't mean hot dogs are bad, or bees should be eradicated. We should each use our judgement and do the best we can do.

OP could you not look at this as those 2 aborted babies while a disgusting tragedy, have lead to millions of lives saved by their sacrifice even though it was unwilling.

Also I suggest some of you check out this thread. It will make your browsing here much more pleasurable.

We wonder at the fanatacism of the anti-gun crowd who consider gun owners a threat to their families, because there's a very slight chance it could be true.

Our response? "Defend yourselves, and don't mess with our rights."

Maybe I'm the only one seeing the irony here...
