So you guys started this thread and I noticed it about May 10 or so. Really peaked my interest and showed my wife these and thought, "how cool, it would be fun to have one". Well, she ordered me the 36" unit for my birthday on the 21st. Did 5 rounds of seasoning on it and got to use it for the first time last Sunday. Overall very happy with it and the bacon, hash browns, eggs, pancakes and grilled onions turned out real good. There is a bit of a method to the cooking madness when making a lot of food so the flow is "right". It will take a handful of times to be efficient cooking on this thing but I really enjoy it. These are of me and my 15 year old son along with Dozer who was lurking for scraps.

15 year old?!?!?
What y’all feeding him?

Been contemplating a Blackstone.
But if I bring home another grill I’ll be sleeping on the patio with them.

Yeah, for a 15 year old sophomore in high school he is a big boy. He eats like a horse and has been living in the weight room for the last 2 years and has gained a quality 50 lbs since Nov 2018. He's 6'1" 230 lbs currently. Even as Spring football just ended, the starting varsity Center position is his to loose in the fall. Supper proud of his dedication to working out and the football program.

Looks to me like:
1. That’s a big ole 15 year old there
2. That Blackstone is pretty awesome
3. Dozer disapproves of your grilling skills; you ain’t dropping enough!

So want one of those. We added on to our patio a couple years back... I'd think we need to add on again, but I need more coverage, too, that would be the problem.

Look at the burners on the Blue Rhino. A lot of the off brand griddles have a single burner tube behind each control knob. The Blackstone has an "H" burner to spread the fire over a larger area to maintain even heat.

Yes I think it does have the burner for each knob but will look tomorrow when I go into work just to make sure, might be able to buy a H burner tube to to fit it depending on the knobs. They have wrote off two of them for work to use for pro events when they cook and so far they are holding up but its simple stuff hot dogs, wonder when you really load it up how it would do.

If I ever have the money to blow away I want a griddle top in my kitchen to cook on, like I used when I use to be a cook in a cafe up in Guthrie.

The 36" is great. I almost returned it for the table top 22" unit but am so glad I didn't. One thing to consider and is only my opinion is that I believe my wife paid about $250 with free shipping on Amazon Prime. There is no way you can get a quality BBQ grill for 1/3 the price of this 36" griddle. The griddle does so much more than the grill does and for the money you can't beat it.
