To build upon okierider's kind words, a group of Marxist fanatics are disappointed in the outcome of the Cold War, and they look for ways to knock the US out of the picture. They form a group in New York City to look for ways to do just this, and recruit from Europe former members of Baader-Meinhof from Germany, Action-Directe the French group and the Italian Red Brigade. While gathered together in a remote location one of the Germans remembers something and goes to Moscow to pursue it The result is as Paul Harvey would put it, 'the rest of the story'

Give it a try. The language of some of the characters is rough and some of the situations are as well, and one reader has advised that it is definitely NOT a book for children. It is also very pro-gun.

Is there any way to get this other than via a Kindle? That's the only option I see on Amazon.

I actually have a Kindle 3, but no access to wi-fi (or whatever it takes) to download stuff with it. I just load books from my computer with a USB cable. :anyone:

I have the Kindle app on my phone. Sometimes when we are out on a trip, we find free wifi in some coffee shop or burger king and download some books or movies on netflix to our phones and then sync to the kindles we have with us.
If you have an Iphone you can get a lightning to HDMI cable adaptor so your phone can be used as a host to watch your movies or read books on your TV.

Lol, we have a flip-phone on a pay-as-you-go plan (about $9 per month, no internet), mainly for roadside assistance or to call the phone/utility companies if our land-line goes down.

If I could get it to my computer, I can load it on the kindle.

Take your computer to a free wifi area and log on with their password. Before we got our latest service which is unlimited data, we would drive to the coffee shop we went to on occasion for coffee and sandwiches on Sunday's when they were closed and download movies, etc when they had no traffic using their wifi. Lowes and Walmart have free wifi but you have to be pretty close to one of the doors.

Yeah... not an option. My computer is a desktop ... or did you mean take the Kindle?

Either way, Sweetie's Alzheimer's and my bad leg prevents us from doing much of anything away from home (barely get to town for groceries lately). There is no such thing as a "pleasure trip" for us anymore.

I'll buy it if I can download it to my computer, otherwise it's a no go. :/

Has it been, by any chance, turned into a audio book? I like listening to audio books while cutting the grass or working out since I rarely have time to sit and read
