I'm sure yall have heard about the crime in Memphis...its pretty high.

Tidbit about Frayser:

Frayser has long been home to the working class Americans. However, as factories in the area began to close, the population of Frayser began to markedly dwindle in the 1970s and 1980s, and it stands at 51,068 today. With a large majority of its residents earning incomes below the poverty line, only 6% holding college degrees, and a continued lack of business and industrial investment, the neighborhood is now one of the poorest and highest crime-rated areas of Memphis.

Ethnicity statistics
Black: 74.2%
White: 23.9%
Hispanic: 1.2%

"Those answers came Thursday night, when officials in Hernando, Miss., disclosed that Webber was wanted there in connection with a June 3 shooting. According to Hernando police, Webber had responded to a Craigslist posting of a car for sale, traveled to Hernando, and then he and the car’s owner took a test drive.

As the car’s owner got out of the vehicle, police said, Webber pulled out a gun and shot the man five times before speeding away with the man’s car.

It was that victim’s car, police said, that Webber was driving when officers attempted to arrest him."

Nope. A car jacking in Ok is justified to use deadly force.
Someone just coming through your locked door in the home is justifiable deadly force.
Both examples would easily be interpreted as a threat to life or serious bodily injury. What would happen if you shot the guy in the back as he drove away in your car, or ran off with your TV set?

I know why the "community" always try to say the dindu was a honor student/father/good person who you know, didnu. What I don't get is why the media always tries to frame that picture as museum worthy without further investigation?

This dude had a violent criminal history. He has social media posts HE made, where he's throwing gang signs, displaying guns and stacks of cash (his street name was "BStacks"), to include what is most likely the rifle he had in the stolen car with him. He posted just a few hours prior to the warrant service that the cops were searching for him, but they'd never catch him.

So publishing all that other crap is just a red herring that does nothing but incite riots. It's irresponsible and quite frankly, the shittiest type of "journalism". :(

I used to really enjoy Memphis in the early 90's when stationed in Little Rock but not anymore. A few years ago, wife and I stayed the night at the Peabody (downtown) while on a road trip. As it started getting late, we headed down to Beale Street to enjoy the music. When we got there, we were greeted by metal detectors. Wha?!? So, since I was carrying, I had to go back to the hotel and drop off my EDC. Anyway, it was still light out when we went into one of the bars. Quite a bit later, when we left, it was dark outside and the demographics changed entirely. On the way back to the hotel, we saw two fights and were approached by 3 panhandlers that were very aggressive in their tactics...and I am *not* a small dude. So, I have had my last Memphis BBQ.

Ask Bob Macy, former DA in Okc. Home owner actually chased down a guy he caught breaking into his home and shot him at an intersection a mile away. No charges filed.
We had a thread on here several years ago that went on for many pages about shooting someone in the back as they were running away after breaking into a home. Some of our legal experts in real life cited some cases where that actually happened and no charges filed.
There has to be some really extenuating circumstances for that to happen though.
It also depends on the political beliefs as DA’s in Ok are elected politicians. One may charge, the other may not.

There are zero journalists in the major news networks including Fox. They are nothing but an extension of the dimocrats with an actual title of “mouthpiece”
It’s amazing that some opinion commentators like Hannity and those that appear on his program are the very people that keep bringing the past administrations crimes into the light while “journalists” ignore the facts.
They are personally responsible for shaming some in Congress to actually break ranks and call out the unlawful acts of the past corrupt administration and the Clinton crime family.
