I wish I had more 9mm and 38 special. I have what some would consider plenty, but can there ever be too much?

I could probably do with less 7.62x54r. When I noticed prices going up on it I picked it up whenever I found a deal. I have more than I'll ever use, mostly because I never shoot it. I have a few mosins but they've never been brought out. I bet they're fun though.

Grab one of those Mosins, and c'mon out to OKCGC the first Sunday of the month, shoot in the Military Bolt-gun match.
Lots o fun, cheap entertainment.

This post netted me another 120rds of 7.62x51 just now...so thats a step in the right direction haha! Got to load up a few M1A mags that I unloaded to link up for the 1919 :)

Remember that you've still got a box of 7.62X51 at your Moore holding facility. Who knows, could make all the difference!!

Lets preface this by saying there's no such thing as actually having too much ammo. I agree....but for the sake of argument....

Is there a caliber you think you have more than a lifetime supply of...aka almost too much IF there were such a thing?

And on the flip side, is there a specific caliber you could never have too much of?

I was putting some ammo away yesterday and realized I probably have 1.5 lifetimes of .357. I dont have a TON, but considering for plinking and range fodder I always shoot .38...I dont think I'll ever shoot through my .357 stash (It helped to find it on clearance at Walmart in Memphis for $6/box).

On the flip side...I wish I had 1.5 lifetimes worth of 7.62x51/.308. Aside from .22, I probably have more of it than any other cartridge but always feel like I need more and more.

This whole question just smacks of you thinking way too much, too much ammo is ....just hogwash, easily corrected with more trips to the range!! Let me add that if you feel you have too much 357 I will gladly volunteer my time and 357 revolver to help with this terrible issue you are having here!!! I bet we can even get a couple other folks on here to help with the issue cause we are a caring group and do not like that you are fretting so much with this horrid problem !! By the way if you would drag your buttocks to the ENS on occasion you can find all sorts of folks to help you !!! :Heya::mosh::cool:

I’ve got a good supply of .223 & components to feed 4 bolt rifles and a Mini 14, plus a good supply of stuff for .22-250 and an assortment of deer rifles. I could use some more Starline .32-20 brass; got a good supply of cast bullets for it. I need a couple boxes of .45 ACP some more .38 Super and I think I’m OK.

I’ve acquired enough.22 RF to finish my lifetime and possibly my heirs. Lol
Other than RF I reload everything with a primer and those components are stacked deep as well.

I dunno about you guys but I kinda get a warm and fuzzy when I buy ammo still, the fact that I can get 9mm, .38 Special, and .22 so darned cheap now is crazy good. I can always find a place to stack/stash/store more 9mm, .38 and .22lr especially. I probably have plenty of shot shells for the future, but...I could live a lot longer, so it's best to be prepared.

This thread compels me to do an inventory in order to better know my standing for the future.
