Yep, Jones America, home of every dumped dog out of OKC.
I picked mine up in 2007 just outside the post office on Main Street.
Good on you montesa; black dogs get it the hardest.

He heels naturally. Responds immediately to commands. Slight pressure on his back and he lays down. I left him alone inside for a few hours. No issues. Fed him next to my dog, no problems on his side. I think he might be part Boston terrier. He has that personality and some of the look.

Did you do a dna test? He or she? Breed? There’s something about a dog that has had a home but then is abandoned. They’re happy to not have to go at it alone.

He was a maybe 10-12 week pup. We have no idea on breed other than maybe some pit and lab.i think he is probably 5% of 20 different breeds. We talked about a dna test but I feel it makes him less special to know. His name is Robbie and he eats acorns and is friends with a squirrel named Harold.

Took him to the vet this morning. He’s had all of his shots and a wellness exam. He gets fixed on Wednesday.

He’s 52lbs. Will get to 60 plus probably.
4-6 years old (explains why he is chill and obedient)
No heart worms
No micro chip
House trained
Walks on a leash realy well
No food or dog aggression
Follows and heels naturally
Comes when he is called
Gets most basic commands.
Has been free and doesn’t go far.
Hasn’t barked once

If anyone knows of someone that would want him please send them my way.

Sometimes they pick you. Good dogs are where you find them. If he gets along with the rest of the crew consider keeping him. I don't know if I will ever be without a good pit bull or pit bull mix.
