Shooting sounds good based on the info in the article.
It makes me happy to see Butijeg (whatever) get heckled, but that large black woman needs to shut up.

From what I gather, she was the mother of the deceased. Her emotions are understandable, I think.

What I don't understand is the lack of outrage when Blacks are killed by other Blacks, and this happens far more often than at the hands of the police. I used to be a PI in Kansas and a Black PI told me that he was very frustrated about this as well. I was somewhat surprised that he would say this to a White man, but he extremely upset about it.

Ok, I didn't know that, I'll cut her some slack.
But still, did she not know her son threatened the police with a knife?

I think the concept of the police hating black people is getting so pervasive that it's just the goto attitude when an officer shoots a black person.

Most black folks tend to support each other in questionable situations (trying to be polite here), where other groups might not.

Not saying it's always a bad thing, just a rather obvious point IMO.

YMMV. :drunk2:

Give em all just one 4 hour trip through a shoot don't shoot. That'll shut em up.
I seriously doubt it. The myth that cops deliberately target Black people is so pervasive that I don't think anything will reach some of them. The riots in Ferguson, MO, was triggered by the lie that Michael Brown was shot while he had his hands up. The media feeds this stuff by exhibiting what former CBS reporter Bernie Goldberg calls 'good racial manners'. This is the practice of de-emphasizing race when Blacks are the perpetrators while shouting it from the rooftops if they are the alleged victims. It means a constant narrative of Blacks as victims of White racism with said racism being the root cause of all the problems that Black people confront. I think this was also one of the reasons the media went after George Zimmerman as hard as they did: simple virtue signalling.

The lack of outrage is driven by compensation. People will be more outraged if they are going to be rewarded by either attention on tv or paid to shut up. On the other hand, if they open their mouth about someone in the hood. They may be rewarded in a different, not so fruitful manner.
