Been dragging my feet on this project, but finally got my 9mm Taccom upper out and finished the lower today.
Quarter Circle 10 billet stripped lower with a Magpul ACR buttstock, Timney 3lb straight trigger, and a three way Taccom carbine length adjustable buffer.
Put 10 rounds through it in the yard. Real soft recoil. Almost nothing.
Now for the optics. Gonna have to be a red dot for fast target acquisition at USPSA matches.
Primary arms has a Vortex Venom on sale that I’ve almost pulled the trigger on, but thought I’d ask for further recommendations.

If you are considering the Venom, I would suggest taking a good look at the Holosun 570c. I really like the one on my pistol and I’m getting ready to put one on one of my PCCs. It is a bit higher than the Venom, but includes a rail adapter. I love the circle dot reticle and it has been easier on my eyes than most others.

Tony turned me on to one early on and I’ve been plenty impressed.

I have the circle dot reticle in my Steel Challenge pistol as the dot of choice in a Bushnell Trophy.
Tony have that holsun on his website? I'm not too worried about cost, just want what all the cool kids are running.

Edit: are you sure about the model number? I'm not seeing a 570C in a google search?

HS507C may be the more correct part number.

Edit. I just noticed the typo in my first post.
It is 507 instead of 570.

It’s already on it as delivered but will likely need a spacer or riser.

On my pistol, I unbolt the adapter and it matches a RMR mount pattern.

I’m not sure how far off the mount height will be. Likely I will have to mount a spacer depending on the stock. I plan on using one on a MPX one if these days.

Since it is an RMR base, there are several options out there.
