This had to be a cool feeling. This guy found the first Honda ever imported to the USA, s/n 1 at a swap meet. He restored it and gave it to a museum so people can see it themselves. Honda started the compact car revolution in the US, and see the first car in this revolution brought back to life is pretty cool.

I watched that the other day and I agree, it's a great watch. I never thought of someone collecting those old econoboxes, but that dude has the FEVER for them. :-)

I never got into the econoboxes, but if it isn't a 60-70's muscle car, its a 60-70's euro coups. I've always had a soft heart for the opals, triumphs and mgs. Just something about their styling I've always liked.

Man, I've been wanting an Opel GT for a long time. I keep looking them up on Craigslist and wanting one, but then I remember I still my 68 Mustang in the driveway that hasn't moved under it's own power in 6 years. :-)

Yep, those are beauties. I also like the mid 70's Triumph Spitfires and later model MG midgets. Just something about those smooth curves that I find appealing.

I think it’s cool that one of the 3 autos was in Oklahoma.
There’s been at least one Honda motorcycle in the family since about 1970 and I had at least one Honda car around since 1992. Good story.

Older Hondas were a lot smaller than today. They have gotten bigger just like us. LOL

I had an Opel GT in high school and college. I'd still have the car except I got t-boned at 41st and MacArthur. I'll dig up a pic in a day or two.
