Please be careful about shooting distance. I had a 38 spl round bounce back and smack me on the shin. Got off easy with a little scrape and bruising. The tie must have absorbed enough energy to make it only feel like a helluva wasp sting. Count my blessings on that one.

What distance were you shooting? Into the ends of the ties or broadside?
