In the first half of 1962, I was in first grade and managed to succeed there so they let me go to second grade in the last half of 1962.

Interesting that a movie about 1962 was made in 1973, just eleven years later.
I was 10, no specific memories other than something about Kennedy and his physical fitness program causing me to do exercises in school, or something. Oh, and nuclear war.
Swimming around in my dad's nut... that probably hadn't dropped yet.
