Yeah you didn't let it cure after you picked it. I can tell this because the stick is still green. You need to lay em in the sun til the stick color turns to a tan. Properly harvesting crops is portant! Ya can't rush the process or quality suffers as you now know.

Way back in time my "evil" Uncle Bill did that.

He put one on a plate of corn-dogs laid out for the kids,,,
My five year old brother took a big bite of it.

My Mom beat him bloody (seriously bloody) with a broom stick,,,
That was the funny part of the story.
