Right, but if an FFL holder can have it shipped to them and not pay a transfer fee, why could an FFL holder not pick it up and not pay a transfer fee?

The paragraph above the one I clipped states:

In the Claremore JM Davis sale, a local FFL dealer, Brandon Hill at HBK Firearms, will be present to facilitate FFL transfers on site. It is advisable for prospective purchasers to provide necessary data in advance to [email protected]. This will help speed up transfers. Those wishing to have items shipped should do the same, having your local FFL holder set up the transfer in advance.

The paragraph I clipped states:

All FFL transfers cost a small fee. In Claremore, HBK’s fee is $30 per firearm. For those firearms shipped, please consult your local dealer for the fee. In some areas of the USA the fee is routinely higher. In others, a bit lower. There is not a double fee- the fee is charged where you pick up the item. Local transfers for pickups will be handled by HBK at the Museum, subject to the $30 fee per firearm.

I read that to say you can have the firearms shipped to your FFL and pay their fee, not sure how much you would save when shipping is involved. I don't see any provision to have the items picked up by an FFL, and I wonder what an FFL is going to charge you to go through the hassle of going there to get the guns, certainly isn't going to be covered in a $10 or $20 a gun transfer fee.
