Nowhere is safe nowadays. Be ready for anything no matter where it is. I am glad y’all got out of there ok.
People need to also be aware around railroad crossings. A year ago, had a buddy stop at one for a train near SE 29th and shields. He was the only one stopped when a car pulled behind him. They jumped out and demanded his wallet and phone. He rolled up his window and they drove away. Talk about no exit strategy, can't drive into the train.

I avoid the OKC area for reasons such as this. And I always tell people who are legally able to arm themselves and especially those that "usually" go armed, "this guy" is out there waiting for you...

I was wondering what time of day and went back and breakfast was mentioned so it was before noon. I always thought the no-goods were asleep during the day and came out in the evenings. I was wrong!
That WM location is the worst. Homeless always walkup and ask for gas money,etc. I have gone in and complained to mgmt. They don't care.
