Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe someone on here a few years back said the same exact thing about the Judge and Governor. They fall under the same rules, no? Roy, do you have a carry permit? IIRC, that changes things about leaving a shotgun in the car.

We covered that in the linked discussion. Basically, the Judge and Governor have rifled barrels, so they’re judged to be different in that regard. Plus, they’re pistols, not something that could appear to a zealous prosecutor to be a sawed-off shotgun. Appearance, being what it is, puts the Shockwave at a disadvantage.

Would such a prosecutor in OK take up the issue if there was a legal case involving the use of a Shockwave in a self defense situation? Maybe not - but maybe.

Just buy one, SBS it and pay the stamp, carry it wherever (where legal) loaded. That's what I did.

Some of us don’t want to deal with that legal hassle, both now and in the future. Decided you don’t care for your Shockwave? Post it for sale or take it to a gun show. Five minutes later, deal done and gone. Can’t exactly do that with a NFA restricted firearm.

In a mid-month rally last November, Don Spenser assured a crowd of about 250 people that the Shockwave was indeed "now legal!" At the time, I had no idea what that Shockwave was... but I read about the critter, and decided that I did not need to mess with that level of recoil. Haven't purchased one...
