Good info , thanks. I always hate buying cars, Don’t like playing their game. They need to price them like any other store, price is what it is.
But they do price them like any other store.
Glock 19
store1 529.00
store2 569.00
store3 599.00
store4 499.00

Apologize for getting off topic but how do you like the tundra? I’m looking for a truck to pull a camper and the Toyota’s with the 5.7L engine seem to be more in the used price range than the f250 and 2500s.

I’m pulling a 7500 lb bumper pull camper with mine. With the 4:30 gears it does a great job.
Even with weight distribution hitch there was still a couple inches of sag on the truck so I installed air bags. We’ve been through several 7% grade mountain passes in Colorado with it. Did just fine.

First of all, look into the towing capacity of the pickup. Not the manufacturer's "tow rating," but the Gross Combined Vehicle Weight rating, which is the truck's total capacity. Then, figure out the weight of the trailer you want and get the weight of the truck with full fuel, passengers, and any cargo in the truck, and then add those two numbers together to see if the truck's GCVW is more than the total of the two.

Having towed a bunch of RV,s and having one now that weighs 18,500 lbs loaded, I can attest that a lot of folks end up buying a truck too small to "handle" the RV they want. "Handling" means more than just pulling. One needs one that can safely stop the vehicle with trailer attached as well.

I hate those "Documentation fees," I tell them I'll take the paperwork to the local tag agent and somehow end up with them "absorbing" the Doc fees. It used to be $125.00 but now it's up toward $250.00 or more. Inflation ya know.

Looks like KIA may be omitted from list. After waiting on best price they come back with what’s on sticker in window from factory. Going to try another dealer, I don’t have a good attitude for this crap. Did drive a Infinity that I liked, all is not lost.

I use USAA Auto Buying Service. No hassles, no "let me go talk to my manager" kind of crap.

I looked at the USAA services (which are the same ZAG/True Car/AmEx car buying pricing as Sams Club and my credit union arranged). Both were about 2500 more across than I got after just some short but to-the-point negotiating on the same trucks from the local Ford dealer.

Those services are convenient, but for some brands/models (not every car is a domestic truck that sells for like 10 grand of sticker) they'll leave considerable money on the table for you.

Those are pretty niche cars. The buyers who want a Stinger REALLY want the Stinger. There's a good chance the dealers can be selling them for right at or VERY near the MSRP.

The Infiniti usually have a larger chance at a discount. I will say that the Crest dealerships in Dallas usually beat the Tulsa and OKC prices.
