Aren't red flag laws really a just a communist dog whistle?

Let's start using the lefts playbook against them.

Has anyone thought about the fact that in politics, a red flag is predominantly a symbol of socialism, communism, Marxism, and left-wing politics? Didn't those same groups use red flag laws against their political rivals?

The whole red flag thing scares me. I dont need the sheriffs dept busting down my door and robbing me. Anybody can make up a lie about you and they will come for your guns.

Same here. I have some family members who are anti-gun. All it would take is one of them claiming I was going to shoot up a mosque, a mall or commit suicide, provide some photoshopped messages and bam! I have the some armed men trying to remove my firearms because a judge say sure without me there to present my defense. Oh sure, you'll get your firearms back *wink wink* if we find you competent. Then they can dig through my past and see that when I was 6 I went to counseling and saw a psychiatrist. Oh now, he's got mental issues, those dangerous weapons of mass destruction need to stay out of his hands!

No thank you.
