Didn't see U.S. beer all that often and most generally when we did it was rusty cans of Blatz or Falstaff.....drank it most of the time hot or poured over ice if some was available and we thought we were in hog heaven. :)

I don't drink alot either I can 6 pack and it may last a couple months or couple days depending mood I am in or how my day at work went. I did learn a lesson once beer is cold do not let it get hot then try to chill it again, it just turns it all kinds of nasty. Amer bach use to my fav go to, till I came across shocktop get the orange bottle put a slice of orange in it and OMG it kicks of the flavor really good, fat tire is good too. I am not a fan of skunky beers, hinnies is one I hate. I have a 6 pack I am trying my hardest to finish think its a ipa kinda of a stout skunky taste, it cost to much to toss it so I am forcing myself to drink them.

A friend of mine told me this get a six pack of bottled angry orchard hard apple cider and a bottle of fireball drink the top of the beer off to the bottom of the neck then fill back up with fireball it tast just like apple pie and if you don’t drink much it will only take one or two

When I was a kid, I'd collect empty cans at the lake. One thing I certainly remember is that Falstaff cans had the worst skunky stench of all the brands......even worse was when the can would 'pee' a little of that foul liquid on your shoes!

My wife has a recipe of something using ginger beer, apple bourbon and a couple other ingredients that the ladies LOVE[emoji6]
I’ll post it tomorrow.
