This would be fun! We got to do it in Albuquerque a few years ago on our way down to the Hatch Chile Festival.

The one in Shawnee last weekend was awesome. They had a outdoor show in the CPN Arena, and outdoor stage with live music, kiddie rides, tons of food trucks, and a bunch of other stuff.

A few years ago I met some people staying at the hotel the night before the balloon festival in Albuquerque.They owned 2 of the balloons.Me and my girlfriend got to take a ride in the balloon.I liked it, she did not.

In February of 2018, while we were in Kanab, Utah, they held their balloon festival. I went up on one of the trails along the side of one of the Vermillion Cliffs to take pictures. It was neat as all get out, and one balloon came right over next to me. They were having issues with gaining altitude, and at one point, I was talking to the operator of the balloon while his basket was actually below me.
