I think that has been over for some time I got a scope with it.
Like I needed another Nikon scope.
Maybe I do now if I score a 6.5 axis for that price.
I will say the 2 old style Axis rifles I have in .223 are super accurate both Sub MOA way out.
I may need to rid myself of a Ruger American in .308 to justify another Bolt rifle in the herd

Looks like all of them in the metro may have the same deal as I just got back from the one here in Yukon and got the 6.5 Creedmoor for that price.

What scope is on em?
It says a Weaver 3x9 in my hunting guide they sent a couple weeks back, deal ends Saturday 8-24. I would personally say the kind you are going to put in the Pay it Forward thread after you look through it. Sale is on .308, 270, 243, 30-06, 6.5cm
Can you review it before Saturday? I need to buy another .243 for the youth hunts I help with.
I looked through the scope and it is very clear and good Field of view. Not a weaver fan and when i seen the weaver name on the scope I was like CRAP!
But it looks as clear as my Nikons and I will be shooting mine soon.
Just a 3x9.
Scope was mounted loose which is not a bad thing I feel people need to move them for their eye position anyway.
Dirty down the barrel so they were test fired at the factory I seen this with all the new rifles I have purchased.
The forearm of the stock is flimsy like all inexpensive rifles I have purchased.
Not a deal breaker for me at all I usually stiffen them anyway and cut some of the plastic away to make darn sure nothing touches the free floated barrel.
100 or 200 yards you probably will not miss a squirrel with the Axis as is.
But to shoot the head off the sucker at 200 I like to tweak things a bit.
On the hunt for the perfect bullet and brass for the 6.5 now.
AARRRGGG Saturday is tomorrow.
I have 2 Axis rifles in .223 and they shoot tiny groups. and they are plain jane small barrel with regular triggers.
I reach for the .223 Axis more than my other guns unless I am hunting heavy brush then it is 30-06 or .308 with heavier bullets.
You may have seen the groups from my .223 Axis if not here are some.
These are all 100 yards
Here is a new load first time with new powder AA 2495 and different bullet 60 gr V-max.
Then some with my liked H4895 powder 55Vmax and 55 PSP load that is sed different OAL and different powder amount PSP load was made for my AR not the Axis.
More Axis .223.
different .223 Axis rifles here One that is SR or Suppressor ready and my regular barrel Axis .223.
If I did not have faith in the Axis rifle I would have not purchased the second one .
And now I have a third in 6.5 Creedmoor.
I would not hesitate to get one.
