If true? @dlbleak just proved that it was true with his kind jester of going out of his way by tracking and purchasing one at Walmart then offering it up here on OSA at no extra cost to someone that would use it and promise not to flip it for a profit. Your skepticism in this instance is unfounded sir.

If true meaning if the advertised price was true.
I take it you have never bought a gun at walmart then. It take about an hour where as at BANG I can be in and out in less than 15 if I choose not to shoot the breeze with patrick.

I was driving down the street with my wife one day and were about to pass a Walmart in Choctaw and she remembered she needed something and wanted to go in and it was crowded and then I realized it was Black Friday! I did not want to go but she insisted so I went to sporting goods and saw a Remington 700 BDL in 30-06 with absolutely gorgeous wood for $379. They are normally about 850 bucks so I bought it and it took 30 or 40 minutes to complete the purchase but my wife was still shopping so I didn't spend any more time there than I would have any way.

I was under the impression that you were questioning the validity of the low price. If not I do apologize.

It appears that three or four fellows here have found these at $249. Good luck to the rest if you all that are hunting for these.

Still showing two of the 12 gauge in Purcell and five of the 20 gauge spread around this area.

I posted in another thread. It is worth calling ahead. I offered at both stores to give the SKU or UPC and got dear in the head lights. They just searched by 11-87 and 20 gauge. One lady found it that way, she verified price and stock over the phone.

So I was a little down because I've been working in Guymon all week. I got back late last night. I got up this morning and found this thread with this great deal on the 1187's, and thought I'd missed my chance. I found ONE last rifle in the Purcell, OK Wal-Mart. I called to make sure they still had it and the guy at the sporting goods counter said several people had called about it today. I raced to Purcell and luckily it was still there (the sales rep said he was not allowed to hold it for anyone - first come first serve). He told me that yesterday someone tried to buy it, but they had an issue with their paperwork and were not approved, so I got lucky! No pic of the shotgun, but here's my receipt for proof! Heck of a steal.

Excellent! I was wondering if anybody was going to snatch those up in Purcell.
