Yes. If they get the required signatures in time, implementation of constitutional carry will be delayed until after the state wide vote.

Over 59k valid signatures from registered voters by next Thursday? Think they can pull it off? Their main focus is OKC and Tulsa. They just might do it. Lots of urbanites who are terrified of guns in those metro areas.
Yep. And if they pull it off, I don't have much confidence of it being defeated in an election. Oklahoma, Tulsa and Cleveland counties have plenty of voters to ride herd over the rest of the state as long as they can get them to turn out.

I see this as an "end around" to the legislature. When CC carry passed the vote wasn't even close. This is a bunch of Bloomie and Mom types trying to do just like commiefornia and other states, where 3 or 4 counties can rule all of them and they know it.

If they get it on the ballot, I suspect OKC and Tulsa would be the only places that would vote for repeal. My impression were those were about the only representatives that voted against it in the first place.

But I doubt they even get it on the ballot.
65% of our state population lives in 6 counties in and around Tulsa and OKC. This wont bide well in a vote.

They only need 59,000 signatures? Are you kidding that seems really low. THEY WILL GET 59,000 signatures (the democrats can get whatever they need one way or another) and it will be delayed. Let’s be realistic the state can’t even verify 59,000 signatures are from actual registered voters by November 1st, so this will be delayed no matter what while they verify. Anyone want to take bets the constitutional carry will be delayed. i will all but guarantee it will be ......anyone want wager

Yup, a little over 59k is all they need.

Straight out of the State Constitution (5% of legal voters, based on number of votes cast in last gubernatorial election).
