The thunder woke me up shortly before my alarm went off.
Power went out here about 9pm. It's 2.45am, no power yet.
Come daylight I'll go fetch the small gennie and get it started. If I can make myself wait that long.
At least then I can plug in the icebox and TV. And maybe a fan. It's getting stuffy in here.

Trees are standing , just a couple of small dead limbs thinned out of the pecan trees. I'll use them in the smoker, electric is on.

5am, no power here yet. Got the gennie running, so the icebox is on, and a lamp.
Lots of people without power and lots of schools closed in OKC. Rough 12 hours. The storm took down a section of my fence.
I'm pissed because the patio I just re-painted in my Atrium that was damaged by hail in the spring just got hammered again. Pits and spots and chunks in the paint maybe don't look so bad after all. I'm up early cause the dog was fussin' with the thunder and drove me out of bed; haven't been outside in the dark and rain to survey the area for damage yet.
Hope you guys with no juice get it back soon. My coffee pot is working so all is well for now.

NW OKC, power went off when the storm got a bit serious. Tore up a big maple in my front yard, but the trees out back seem ok. Power came on at 5....popped a transformer, went off. Came on for good at 6am, which is perfect. YES to coffee, druryj

Damn, man... sorry to hear that. We were without power about 18 hours a few weeks ago, it sucked. Genny runn'd outta gas. I gotta get some more, we still haven't filled her back up.
Well, it was sure an interesting evening. Minor damage (very minor) here, but we have power and that means we have coffee! Best wishes to all who were actually impacted by the storms.
