For the small portion of the population that knows how to use a 4 way stop or the stoppage of a working stoplight, we get it and it’s pretty easy for us to understand. Now of the rest of the population that need something whether it’s a light, electronics, or another person, etc to direct them at most tasks during the day, this poses a problem for them, not having something or someone telling them what, when and how to do something. Unfortunately, you are asking way too much from the rest of the population.
How come if everyone is a better driver than everyone else we have so many bad drivers??
That's a mystery if I have ever heard one. I'm for the most time a good driver, not a great driver I have my moments, but I don't use the phone while driving. We have hands free calling in the truck so I don't worry about that. I do at times wander off while driving.

People are always swerving and texting when I’m out walking my dog. There have been multiple people texting that pulled onto the main road and drove right past me without even seeing me there. The texting and driving thing is out of hand.
We remember enough of the driving manual that we understand that the person on the right has the right-of-way. A lot of people don't remember that or just don't give a poop or too busy doing other things like on their phone, that they care. I hope that most of us here are will fit in that small part of the population. I could be wrong, just ask my wife, she can tell you how wrong I am on most things.
I would be interested to know how many accidents there were today due to all the stop lights being out. Many today don't know how to proceed through a stop sign controlled intersection. Everyone's in a hurry to get to the job they loathe.
My gf lives out in Harrah, and was telling me about all the idiots at the 4 way lights that were out on the way into OKC this morning. I asked her if her 16 yo daughter would be able to navigate that situation. She said "I don't know but I'll ask." She asked. She didn't. New driver. Just had drivers Ed. WTF?
I knew you were gonna be in Lawton. I knew it.
