Okay, so a couple of weeks ago the dexterclearance.com site was showing a Savage A17 marked down to $184. I tried my local store and was told they did not have one in stock (which I questioned, but didn't press them) and another store had one but still had it marked $383. So I figured the website just had bad info, oh well.

Today, for fun, I checked this brickseek.com site for the same A17 rifle, and they showed it marked down to $99. No way, I thought, that's just not possible. So I checked dexterclearance.com too, they also showed $99, and both sites showed one in my local store (who dubiously told me they didn't have one).

So this time I called, and told them I was looking for one, and if they had one what was the price? They checked "in the back" and said yes, they had one, and the price was $99.

So I just got home with it. I don't know for certain that these sites are 100% accurate, but without question if you see something you want, they are worth checking into. I'm actually glad they told me before they didn't have one, it saved me almost $100.
