GOOD. It will give more business to the mom and pop gun shops. I haven't purchased a gun or ammo from wallyworld in 20 years.

I quit buying ammo there when they didn't have any, during the Great Ammo Dust Bowl. I found alternate sources and never looked back.

If nonsensical boycotts actually worked, the only people damaged by the action would be the employees.

I had knee replacement surgery last week at Norman Healthplex, and was told that I couldn't open carry in the operating room. That would be enough for some to never enter a hospital again.

You boycott or don’t boycott who you want and I will boycott who I want, people my age seem to care more about our freedoms than people your age

This shows me how chicken Wal-Mart really is, Why don't they just stop selling all firearms and all ammo period? That would make a better statement. There just caving to the media trying to get some publicity. There just trying to play both sides and make a profit. I bet Academy is smiling all the way to the bank. I just hope Amazon and Wal-mart put themselves out, would be great and maybe we would have more mom and pop type stores pop back up that care about there customers.

I couldn't tell you that, all I know is that this makes me so mad and even sad as an associate with this company.
"Here Mr. Customer is your new mini 14, oh yeah, go elsewhere to buy your ammo. We don't want that part of your business."

Yes, they should just back out of all firearm related purchases. I mean at this point it makes no sense to take this stance, the alienation has occurred the rifle and shotgun ammo would not be noticed most likely after this.

The El Paso WM shooter and the idiot in Dayton used almost identical AR pistols. Look for pistol braces to gain attention too. They could go down like bump stocks

Not 100%, but the pics I saw to the El Paso shooter, he was using an AK47 style rifle, not an AR with a brace.

I heard this news on the way home for lunch. On the way back to the office, I stopped off at one of the local WMs to see if the clearance had started. Poor guys behind the counter looked like deer in the headlights. Guy in front of me was pointing on his phone wanting to know why they hadn't started the clearance sale yet!!
