I love how this blog, which profusely refutes climate change, casually tossed out that the concrete pads on which wind farms are built are bad for the environment because they off gas CO2 lmfao.

My point being, if climate change is false, CO2 release is moot to their own belief. I just found it to be a humorous juxtaposition.

"Global warming is false, but concrete emits dangerous greenhouse gas" lol

Powerline LOVES to point out the failed thinking of liberals and especially the "Green Energy" scam. Few years back they ran a few pieces on the environmental impact of the batteries for electric cars. Car would have to last for decades to offset the impact of making the batteries and shipping them here from China.

Why don't they make em of aluminum? It's a long piece of kit, but if planes can take the abuse... That'd at least make their service life longer and easier to recycle.

Agreed. We have plenty of experience of aluminum structures lasting 50+ years.

I wonder what's the limiting factor for the composite blades. (i.e. what causes it to expire after 20 yrs)

My experience with wind turbine blades is that lightning strikes put holes in them and the constant spinning at about 200mph causes the wind to continue ripping them apart.
