I wish members had that kind of conviction everytime the NRA bargained off a little piece of our rights. Imagine the organization it could have remained today.
I would even add that anyone still supporting the is a fool, regardless of the arguments that they are the biggest and strongest of the lobbying groups. The problem with any of the lobbying groups is we the member NEVER EVER FOLLOW THROUGH WITH A BOYCOTT! Let’s face it there is plenty of evidence to support the fact that most “2A supporters” will do nothing as our rights are infringed! How do we expect any lobbying group to have and bargaining power when we can’t agree to boycott WAL MART? It’s hilarious to think any of the lobbying groups will have power until their supporters actually had together to hurt the retailers that infringe our rights.

Basically the NRA, GOA, name one they have no bite because we DON’T GIVE THEM ANY TEETH, so don’t expect to see any changes at all. We should simply accept our fate if we won’t boycott it’s our only voice left today. Seeing most people here comment against boycotting Wal-Mart I think its safe to say losing our right to keep and bear arms is only a few years away. That will be my last comment for quite some time,if we (2A supporters) cant even agree to fight in the same battles , we sure as HeII cant win the war. By reading much of this thread it’s obvious this war is already lost we just dont know it yet.

No, you just support your local gun shop, mail order biz, or better yet get your FFL, hang out your own shingle and run your business according to your own principles instead of demanding others do so...
I do support local gun shops, but don’t be so foolish as to think they won’t be the next targets (next stop will be eliminating FFL holders) This is the reason the gun lobby has ZERO TEETH, NONE! Each encroachment on our rights and the 2A supporters do nothing! This is why the gun lobbyists have zero power to even proffer an argument anymore. It’s because we don’t boycott, we sit on our hands and do nothing but complain about it.

It’s time to accept the rights to bear arms is lost, it’s just a matter of when. I wont demand they do something against their principles but I can damn sure advocate for boycotting them. But ultimately we should be aware its a lost cause, but I don't really think you personally care if we have a right to keep and bear arms. You have always seemed to be in the “only LEO’s need weapons” crowd.

I digress, to each his own ...but I for one will do everything I can legally do to fight this wave of anti gunners.

If you think boycotting Walmart will solve our 2A infringement problems, then perhaps I can interest you in some ocean-front lunar real estate near the Sea of Tranquillity...

Big business is not the enemy. They just follow the lead of anti-gun politicians (wherein lies the problem). But if boycotting make you feel better, by all means go for it.

Stating your opinion as a hard & fast rule for other folks won't help either.

Just my 2¢ ...

Yes, and not just the politicians, but following the lead of their paying customers. Big Business is big because it's shrewd, and not simply doing things out of their principles. They're making business decisions that are calculated to be popular enough that they continue making money.

And FWIW my attitude isn't one of throwing my hands up and giving up; that's not what my two posts in this thread meant. Rather they're meant to point out that capitalism doesn't give a shiet about your or my or Michelle Obama's principles. They're just chasing profit.

When it costs them more in the court of public opinion than the money they make.

Cheaper than Dirt is a prime example of gun owners not putting a business out of business for raping the gun community during everyone of the mass shootings. They are first to jack prices the day after. Our own businesses don't support us with some major exceptions so how are we expected to support them?
I've said in another post that 2A supporters are lazy and apathetic about keeping our rights. Gun grabbers are united in their hatred of gun ownership and the fact they can't control us as long as we own them.
The grabbers are winning because of US.
