Oohrah! I had an old Gunny tell me once when I was a young leatherneck that the USMC was like the world's biggest fraternity. I didn't really understand then, but I do now.
Both of my parents are retired marines. They (parents) wouldn’t let me join when I turned 18, told me to go to college. I guess it all worked out. I’m waiting for my dad to finally break down and be one of the old Vietnam vets with all the stickers and license plate.

This is an article about the son of one of my former coworkers. When Jarad was a young boy he would come into my office asking me about the Marine Corps. At an early age he wanted to be a Marine. I'm proud to see he has carried on that great legacy.
