I have the bluray collection of OU's 2014 season. We watch that Baylor game every Thanksgiving, the OSU game every Xmas. It's a family tradition.

Tradition is watching the OU Nebraska Game (It was the only football game on TV on Thanksgiving)
All college football games started at 1:30 and you could only be on National TV two times a season (Before ESPN)

Before OU and UGA broke the NCAA's monopoly, you mean. I happen to know two of the men who argued (and won) that case before the SCOTUS as the attorneys for the schools.

Here, but occasionally There.
Back in the '70's, I delivered some Anhydrous Ammonia fertilizer to a Nebraska fertilizer dealer. I walked up to the office to turn in the paperwork for the load and saw several farmers putting chairs in place in front of a TV. I looked up and saw a Sooner jersey, so I said something like, "Hey, the Sooners are on. Cool."

Everyone turned around and looked at me with not so friendly looks on their faces. That's when I realized they were fixing to watch the Oklahoma/Nebraska game. That was kind of the rivalry in the day.

I stayed out of the office after that.
