Been there. Kneeling on the ground to give a shot of medicine to her calf.
Older guy helping us out said to not worry about the cow as she wouldn't do anything to me as long as I held her calf down. So, I took my eyes off the cow and back on giving the calf a shot.
After letting the calf back up and him running out to his momma, our helper then said, "Of course, I could never get my feet to believe that."

They’ve been doing that for years with show cattle at the Tulsa state fair. They get pretty serious with the hair clippers, too.
