LOL, I might have guns, I might have sufficient ammo, a range in the backyard with plenty of steel plates that gets plenty of attention.. I eat well and winky gets wet a plenty.. She'll tell me I am not King chit but I sure don't have any complaints.. Right now I smell bacon and I'll sit for breakfast here shortly.. She has been programmed by me and will also say from my cold dead hands.. You can call me King chit.. :tounge2:

Having previous bad experiences in failed marriages when the wife and I got married we decided it would be best for us to keep our finances separate. She has her checking account I have mine, her money is hers and mine is mine, we split the normal bills to be sure everything is paid but other than that no questions asked. 23 years with nary an argument about money.

I'd rather be divorced, making my own decisions and getting some strange over being married to someone who tells me what I can or can not do and "has a headache"

Has my bad attitude rubbed off on you?

It’s never about “needing” guns (unless it’s your last one). It’s “want”.

Me and my wife are like this, however I have a certain amount deducted from my pay and DD into her bank account. I have 4 cc and our time share mortgage I pay, she takes care of the rest of the bills.

Same with us. We both had a failed first marriage, and we lived together for 3 years before we tied the knot. Kept our accounts separate, and they still are to this day. No more asking permission to buy something - on either side.

Mine is now a frugal homemaker, I too have a said amount transferred every paycheck to an account for her to spend as she see's fit.. I'll hand her my card for groceries and I pay the balance of the bills..

Me and my wife keep our finances separate as well. I pay some of the bills, she pays others. It has worked for 30+ years of marriage now.

Here, but occasionally There.
Wife and I don't have separate accounts, but we've never had any problems with what to do with the money. Also, starting around 2008, she has been the one most interested in purchasing firearms. Sadly, after I suggested buying a "tactical" shotgun, we bought it, but she lays claim to it.

Call me a caveman but that "my wife said no" crap never happened in my home.

Maybe that's one reason I'm divorced but I won't have someone telling me what I can and can't do with things I bought with my hard earned money.

I'm a full grown man! [emoji16]
Thats how it is at my house . but she works too and I don't tell her how to spend her discretionary funds either
