@O4L and @druryj I have one that's kind of a rare bird or odd duck depending how you look at it. It's a 1985 model 60. In the mid 80s is when Marlin came out with the last shot bolt hold open feature but they also did away with the longer tube (18 max) in favor of a shorter tube (15 max) in the late 80s. Marlin did this to comply with New Jersey's law on a 15 round limit on semi automatic weapons. Mine has the 22 inch barrel, the more desirable longer tube, the last shot hold open and it's also sporting the original Tasco scope. I won't get rich off of it but I think it's kinda neat.

I have one of those too. Marlin made these from late 1984 (Intro of the LRHO) to 1989 when they made the capacity change to comply with New Jersey. I have found they usually go for a slight premium ($50-$75) over the other configurations out there.

If you have a OK DL they don't know how long you lived you here just shows you are a resident of OK. I have a marlin model 60 close to the end of JM stamped marlins and love it, shoot great and is pretty accurate. I also picked up a couple glenfields at a gun show this weekend 200 for both. The ruger 10-22 does have alot more aftermarket parts to dress it up and make it yours, the marlin not so much but parts are pretty easy to get and are easy to work on and clean. Check pawn shops can find good deals, or local gun shows for a good 22 they are everywhere. If nothing else find a private seller that has a 22 that just needs to see your OK issued DL to get what you want if your worried about the length of residency.
