Trapping rodents is a noble pursuit. Blake and I don't expect you to understand.
Blake? You got a mouse in yer pocket? HA
Speaking of mice, I did the trap those, in my garage every fall, I'd set out 4 traps in their favorite spot inside the water heater and furnace closet and i'd have as many as 3-4 mice a day usually from Oct. till November then it slowed to maybe a week after that. Using a piece of bread n peanut butter squashed together.

How much are gopher pelts selling for these days? I read...and it may be Wrong, that gophers have their own tunnel and don’t use other gophers tunnels.

So in a thread a few weeks ago I talked about the best thing I have found to keep them from using the same tunnels is jam the dead one back in there. If Larry is stinking it up in the tunnel then Mo will probably find a new one. I can tell you that if you took the top 3 -6 inches off my property it would probably look like a maze of super highways in California. They are everywhere. My soil is pure river sand its easy for them to move around in.

As for the pelts and meat you guys should have claimed it this morning when it was fresh.
