I have owned many Glock 19s but never an M&P 9. So, I am looking for everyone's input.

I feel the need to add a mid size 9mm to my current rotation and need some shooters insight as to which is better.

Thank you.

A 4” M&P 9 2.0 Compact, has almost exact dimensions to the G19. I think the 2.0 has a better trigger than the G19, the grip is more aggressive. I prefer the M&P over the G19 in every feature.
I do not like the Original M&P 9c. Mine stays in the safe. The 2.0 is in my carry rotation.

I had an original M&P Compact in .357Sig with .40 and 9mm barrels. I really liked it and have often wished that I still had it.

I have a Glock 19.5 that I'm very happy with but it is mainly just my nightstand pistol.

I have no experience with the M&P C 2.0 but I have considered trying one out because I have liked every M&P pistol I've ever owned.

Mad Professor, I agree on the 9c. I have owned 3 and there is something that just doesn't fit.

I like my 9c over my shield. 5 more rounds, and not really much size difference. I shoot it better as well. I feel it fills a role better than the G26/27, which feel horrid in my hands.

The only 2.0 “complaint” I have is the grip texture is a bit aggressive for IWB carry. Skin abrasion or snagging the garment. Easily fixed with some very fine sandpaper to the user preference.

I recently picked up a M2.0 Compact with the 3.6 inch snout. Awesome pistol, very balanced, incredible trigger pull. Much better lines and curves than any Glock I ever owned. A beautiful finish on the slide and mags. Just really a more asthetic pleasing pistol.

Sold it yesterday. :faint:

Why? Other than me being nuts :screwy: it wasn't a Glock. I've carried a Glock of some configuration for almost 30 years. I reckon I'm just hard wired to denounce any other pistola I try to slip into the stable.

Sad really... :cry3:

I think you should go get a CZ 75 in stainless steel. I'm sure you'll find it superior to a Glock in every way.

Then call me in a few days when you want to sell it cheap.

I've held one. They feel awesome. But alas, in the back of my pea sized brain, all the anti Glock propoganda starts happening.

Like I said, I've owned em all and I always return to Gaston's Polymer Perfection.
