If you can read that, and not tear up while thinking seriously about your own mortality and what that brave man said rather than crying like a baby, that takes courage that I damn sure hope I have at those final moments.I just shared this with my two older daughters. I asked them what they learned of 9/11 in school today and when it didn't seem it was talked about much, I felt they needed to know more. It seemed they were under the impression that these were warplanes crashed into "some buildings". Clay, that was pretty heard to read to em. I'm usually a pretty tough rough talkin dad but I think when my voice cracked and a tear or two fell, they started understanding just how terrible things were for many families on 9/11. I also explained many of my personal feeling about certain groups of people and how I will never trust them. I think they are wiser now and I appreciate you posting something they could relate to Clay.

What is it mow, 18 years? Im bad with years, the day, not so much.
Very interesting show.I was surprised how many screw ups there were as far as norad and the military not being able to understand each other. Also, it taking and hour and 1/2 for the fighter jets to get to Air force one.It could have been a lot worse. This story will be on the History Channel tonight from 20:00 to 22:00.
